The Wanderer's Journal, and the End of Class

This week we started up another round of sickness- lots of people were tired, some felt nauseous, and Mike got a headache (which might have been related to the sickness that the others felt.)

Tim and Gideon ordered a book which talks about Hollow Knight. It's name is "The Hollow Knight Wanderers Journal, and it arrived on Monday. "It is really cool and it tells you a lot of things about different characters and places in Hollow Knight. Me and Gideon have been obsessing over it." says Timmy.

We also did more work on the garden with grandpa Craig this week. It is starting to look good. Here's hoping that we get some good food out of it this year.

It was also last week of co-op this week. Alison's classes went well, and Timmy and Rea liked the ones that they attended as well, so it was a success overall.

We had parties all Saturday. The younger three kids went to a party at the Dalyias The party was medieval themed. There was a pinata and a feast and you could buy stuff with the coins. They had dragons and snakes and lizard and spider toys that you could buy. Each thing had a price, and you could get money by writing names and shooting things with arrows. Feeding the dragon and tick tack toe also got you money. Elsa says "I had a really fun time at the party." The older two were invited to come over to Ellie's pool to swim or something (those that are writing this are not aware of what actually happened, and the girls are not here to tell us more, so that is what you will get to know this time).

To wrestle with a goat

Andrea has been enjoying the spring immensely. She loves to spend most of her time outside (she would probably spend almost all of it out there if her mother would let her). She loves to break into the goat food and feed the goats and chickens. She was digging holes under the fence (not to get through (she knows how to open the door) but to use the dirt as play goat food when we don't let her get any more real goat food) this leaves the chickens enough space to squeeze under the fence and enter into our garden area. The chickens have been laying a ton of eggs. The black and white one lays one every day and the other two lay eggs on alternating days it seems. Lala has been still producing milk in decent quantities (it is too bad that we have to dry her off when we go to Japan, but I doubt that we will be able to find someone who is willing to milk her that entire time). The kids just discovered stop motion animation and are making videos of their modeling clay dinosaurs. They're having fun. We have a wasp nest in our big tree in the front yard that Mike is really, really trying to figure out how to deal with before the weather warms up. It's much too high for any of the normal methods. He's thinking of shooting balls of clay at it with a slingshot to try to knock it down. This week we had CC and the kids are making friends with a new family, Will and Grace. They're nine year old twins and Timmy and Sara are having fun talking about Wings of Fire and Spirit Animals and other books with them. Tuesday the Rogers were off school, so we went with them and Grandma Julie to Thanksgiving Point all day. We did the dinosaur museum in the morning and butterflies in the afternoon.
