Yet another two weeks

Image
Over the last two weeks we have had multiple sick people in our house. Timmy is mostly recovered, however, Gideon got sick and now Rea and Elsa are sick too. This is basically a constant thing I guess - someone is always sick. I suppose that it means that we are getting our immune systems stronger against all sorts of things. Last weekend we went on a camping trip with the Plastows. They planned it and invited us, and it was really fun. We went up to a church owned camp ground and we played games and played in the pond that they had. There were a lot of water crafts and a zipline. We ended up going home a little early to go to Chauncy's birthday party (it was cancelled on account of sickness, but we didn't know that at the time. One thing that Mike did while up there was to pick a bunch of elderberries and when we got home he made them into a elderberry syrup. With all of the sick people in the family it has come in handy. The stuff is really good to help with coughing. Thursda...

Rea and Sara had call backs this week, and they both got into the cast, so apparently they were wanted again. In November they will be playing in the Frightmare before Christmas again. Rea wanted to add that she got picked for Sharona (one of the vampire daughters of Dracula), which is a more important role than last year. We are excited! Timmy asked him to play the Dung Defender theme from Hollow Knight, and within a day he was able to play it so he hasn't forgotten everything and lost all of his embouchure. That being said it is very hard for him to hit the high notes and he doesn't remember how to read the music anymore so it will be a job to b...

Nages, nages, petit poisson

Alison wrote a post last week and then asked Mike to add images to it, however, Mike completely forgot to do that so this post is now a two-week post. Here is the post from last week: We had one more week of vacation with Andy and Katie, which was great, and then this week we're trying to get back to a normal schedule.  It wasn't quite normal, because Réa was at FSY this week. She had a wonderful time! She went with her friends Emma and Sara Waters to Snow College. Her favorite part was the classes; they had seminary teachers from all over Utah come and teach, and you got to choose which class to go to each hour. We all missed her a lot, but we're glad it was so great.  Our neighbor girls who we've been taking to the park all summer started a class in the mornings, so it's just us now. This was the last week of school lunches, too; summer is winding down! :( Alison is ALMOST ready for the new school year, lol. We got a dumpster Wednesday and Mike and the boys worked...
