Butterfly Princess and Rea's Wedding Dress

To start this blog post out, Gideon told me that I could dictate and he would type up what I say. See if you can interpret this: booehapedanoonecnecam The answer is: "Booey has picked a new nickname". This happened a few weeks ago, but we didn't report it when it happened since it seemed like a passing fancy, but she has stuck with it, so she is now known as "Butterfly Princess". When asked what that name means she says that she is a butterfly that is also a princess, so it isn't just a human princess that has a butterfly theme. This week aunt Sheila finished Rea's dress for uncle Dan's wedding. It is blue, with gold lace over the skirt, and Rea thinks that it is very pretty. It's been three weeks

We haven't written in a long time, so this one will contain a lot. On the 27th Mike went to a work conference in Florida. He got to meet many of his team members for the first time and had a fun time - despite missing his family. When he came home the family picked him up at the airport and we immediately all drove to Salt Con, since it was going that Thursday through Saturday night. We had a lot of fun at the convention as always. The highlights of this year were: We painted miniatures and won a bunch of bat miniatures too. Rea painted a jungle bat, Mike a frost bat, Sara a rainbow bat, Timmy a goblin moneycarrier, and Gideon another jungle bat. Some of the kids also bought more miniatures to paint as well. We always enjoy painting them. Mike participated in the regional Dominion tournament, but he lost, so that was too bad. The kids loved the vendor hall this year and commented on how it had levelled up from previous years. Mike enjoyed the math trade and the game swap hall, and
