A factual report of the occurrences in one Brown household.

We missed posting last week, so there are two weeks to report on.

We have been making good progress on the house during the time. The HVAC, electric, and plumber are all going regularly. In fact, we recently calculated that everything might be done in June

Not this Saturday, but last Saturday we went to a ward fund raiser for girls camp. The girls put on a carnival for the kids and had a silent auction for the adults. It was fun.

We also celebrated Mother's Day. We made Alison breakfast in bed, and the kids sang in church. Rea and Sara also taught the young kids in church for their Mother's Day lessons. The lessons went fairly well.

This weekend the plastic stayed over for a multi-day sleepover since Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Mike have been taken care of them. The kids played way too many video games and watched way too many screens, however, they did get along fairly well.

On Saturday Mike and Grandpa Mike took advantage of Taylorsville bulk waste disposal day to get rid of six truck loads of garbage from the work site. By the time that we were done all of the people who are working there recognized us on site. It saved us a ton of money, so we're really happy that they put it on.

Rea has been planning to give a huge gift of squishmallows to the Plastows for over a year now. She finally hid them all over the Plastow house, so her plans reached fruition.

Allison and the girls watch The Wizard of Oz this past week getting ready to go see Wicked. Alison has been playing the songs from Wicked and not spoiling the play for them, however, she has been attempting to explain to them the parts of the play that they might not understand.

We also went to NPS for the first time this past weekend. Multiple people have told us to go to it, however, since it was so far we never made it out there. It was pretty fun to shop and we did find some good deals. We will probably go back periodically.

Rea also found fabric for the dress that she is making for Trek. She is very excited about it, and it looks like it will be perfect for her. When she's done we'll put a picture up.

The Waters are also leaving town soon, and have asked us to take care of their animals and plants while they are gone. We went over and learned how to do it and Rea wrote good notes that she will possibly sell to her siblings so that they can help take care of the plants and animals as well.
