In which Mike doesn't add any pictures because he keeps not remembering to do it

On Monday we played clean up your own backyard 

On Tuesday we watched The Prince of Egypt 

On Wednesday we had unleavened pizzas and haroseth.

On Thursday we went up into the mountains and had a barbecue. We also had on Thursday practically the only snow storm this winter, which meant that when we went up into the canyons there was snow on the ground and beautiful flockage in the trees. Some of the kids did not dress sufficiently warm, so they were sort of sad, however we made a wonderful fire in the snow and roasted hot dogs and sausages and s'mores. Mike took a gluten pill because he didn't want to miss out on hot dogs cooked over a fire and s'mores.

On Friday we had an Easter egg hunt and then the kids went to Grandma's for a sleepover with cousins and the adults had a double date with the Rogers. We played some lotr RPG and watched MegaMind. Our favorite part was when he said "Muh-LON-kuh-lee" instead of melancholy.

When Timmy learned about how we watched megamind without him, he said "How wude of Uncle Chauncey!"

Elsa also said"I didn't get to watch it either!"

On Saturday we watched the beginning of general conference with the Poulsons.

On Sunday we watch the rest of general conference at Grandma Sheila's house. We also clipped the dog's toenails.

Elsa also wants it written down that we ate pizza at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Yummy!

To wrestle with a goat

Andrea has been enjoying the spring immensely. She loves to spend most of her time outside (she would probably spend almost all of it out there if her mother would let her). She loves to break into the goat food and feed the goats and chickens. She was digging holes under the fence (not to get through (she knows how to open the door) but to use the dirt as play goat food when we don't let her get any more real goat food) this leaves the chickens enough space to squeeze under the fence and enter into our garden area. The chickens have been laying a ton of eggs. The black and white one lays one every day and the other two lay eggs on alternating days it seems. Lala has been still producing milk in decent quantities (it is too bad that we have to dry her off when we go to Japan, but I doubt that we will be able to find someone who is willing to milk her that entire time). The kids just discovered stop motion animation and are making videos of their modeling clay dinosaurs. They're having fun. We have a wasp nest in our big tree in the front yard that Mike is really, really trying to figure out how to deal with before the weather warms up. It's much too high for any of the normal methods. He's thinking of shooting balls of clay at it with a slingshot to try to knock it down. This week we had CC and the kids are making friends with a new family, Will and Grace. They're nine year old twins and Timmy and Sara are having fun talking about Wings of Fire and Spirit Animals and other books with them. Tuesday the Rogers were off school, so we went with them and Grandma Julie to Thanksgiving Point all day. We did the dinosaur museum in the morning and butterflies in the afternoon.
