Brigitta or Liesl

On Monday Mike went to his new office for the first time. It is down near where 1800Contacts used to be, so he is not that excited about the move. They don't have car charging stations set up yet, so he has to drive carefully on mornings where it is cold enough to warrant the heater.

Monday night we watched the Emperors New Groove for family night activity. The kids loved it, and the adults did as well. Kronk was (as always) the favorite.

Wednesday we watched Paw Patrol, and ate popcorn for Timmy's date night. He had a fun time, which is sort of the goal of them.

Mike discovered the SaltCon Math trade had started some time this week, so he has been adding his games to it, and perusing the games for trade. He really enjoys the math trade.

On Friday morning Alison went to get an ultrasound to determine the gender and healthiness of the baby. It is a girl, and healthy. Mike was working from home at the time, so he stayed with the kids, although they didn't end up needing any help during the appointment.

We are excited about the gender of the baby because Alison had had a feeling that we should have a baby named Elizabeth, and she didn't want to have six children. Mike is fine with this because he only felt that we should have five children, and girls are easier to name than boys anyway (especially this one).

Upon hearing the gender declaration, the girls were excited, Gideon didn't care, and Timmy had a nuclear melt down. He was very unhappy that we are going to have a girl. He still thinks that he baby should be a boy, and is still hoping that there is a second baby hiding somewhere in mommy that is a boy, and that the ultrasound technician missed it.

Friday night we made panang curry for our date night. It was fun and turned out good. We also had Lassi, and mango sticky rice. The kids liked it, and so did the grown ups.

On saturday morning we picked some more oregon grapes and fireberries, and made another batch of jelly. It tastes good, and set well.

On Saturday evening we went to the DI to pick up some new chairs and a microwave. Our microwave died again, so we got another one. fortunately we were able to find both fairly easily. We also were looking for a working VCR, however we didn't find one.

On Sunday Mike's calling took a long time because the new bishopric is not yet very good at doing financial stuff. Hopefully they get up to speed quickly.
