The last fair yolks

Monday we had family night because we were driving last Sunday. As the treat we made another tray of fudge (we really need to stop that)

On Tuesday we had park group during the day, and excepting Rea, the kids all got cold and whiny. It ended when Gideon wet himself and we got fined and kicked out of the park (that last part was a joke)

Mike is feeling constantly exhausted recently because baby Elizabeth is having such a hard time sleeping through the night. We probably haven't ever had such a hard time getting a kid to sleep.

On Wednesday Rea and Sara went to Activity Days. It was Sara's first activity days activity. They wrote down things about themselves on pieces of paper and then ate cupcakes. It was fun.

On Thursday we had a party to celebrate Carnival. It was Timmy's choice for a theme, so we had an Amazon Rainforest themed party. The cake had amazon themed animals for toppers, and we had some kids from Timmy's class over as party guests.

During the day on Friday we had 4ish inches of snow, and the kids had a really fun time playing in it at nature group. Alison was worried that the kids would be whiny, but they weren't. Having a pit
Instant pot full of hot soup made for an excellent lunch for them.

On Friday night the kids amused themselves while the parents played a new game. One that Mike is co-designing with Seth Jaffe! (for those who don't know, Seth Jaffe is a moderately well-known game designer with more than 25 games listed on his BGG designer page). Mike is super excited about working on a game with him, as Seth is one of the designers that Mike respects a lot. His Eminent Domain: Microcosm is a huge amount of game packed into such a small space.

Saturday we did our final Organized Simplicity cleaning - cleaning out the spare room. It took most of the day, but we are happy with the results. We are in the process of transitioning the baby out of the room, so that she can sleep with her brothers and sisters, but as she doesn't really sleep through the night yet, we can't do it yet.

We also went to get some milk from Utah Natural Meat - A dairy farm that is not too far from us. Since we have no goats right now and we want good milk, we had to drive pretty far. To make up for that, we bought 8 gallons, and froze 7 of them. It should last us a while, and be easier than milking goats.

The kids petted a few of the calves there, and named them lickitongue 1 and 2.

Saturday night Rea got sick, and threw up. We kept her home from church because of this.
