The hot week where nothing happened

This last week the girls went to girls camp. The only thing that I can get out of them is that "it was fun".

While they were gone Timmy was the biggest kid, and he did a good job being the responsible one most of the time.

We had an extreme heat warning for most of the week, so we stayed inside more so than usual. That being said we still did get to the park a few times.

On Tuesday we didn't meet with the builders since they hadn't gotten anything done over the last week. Mike is getting frustrated with their lack of progress. They finally got a container to the house, so we moved stuff Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. At the present time we can't recommend them to anyone, but we will see if they start getting stuff done finally perhaps we will change our opinion. They say that this upcoming Tuesday the plumber will arrive, so if they can get the demolition done before then then perhaps we will stop falling behind.

We also moved to the Waters House on Saturday - they were planning on going out east to see church history sites, however, Brock lost his wallet and they also forgot to bring the kids birth certificates, so they couldn't go to Canada. Because of this they ended up arriving back home Saturday night at 11:30. It was a rough night of sleep. Now they will be here until Monday so that they can get a temporary licence for him.

Sunday after church Mike picked up Jell-O from the cat sitter, so that combined with the fact that Rocket is invited inside at the Waters House means that our whole family is back together again.

Finally, Gideon was able to play a game called "golf world" for the first time in a long time. Apparently it is a thing to do with the Waters, and they basically make a bunch of trick shots. Gideon successfully hit his ball into a bike seat, which is a hard thing to do.
