And she keeps it there all day

This week Rea and Sara went to girls camp. They had a fun first night, and then the next day it was raining and there was lightning so they ended up having to go home early. That was pretty disappointing, however, to look on the bright side no one got struck by lightning and they did end up with chickens that they could balance on their heads.

Rea went a day early to do ycl stuff. She enjoyed canoeing and thought that the storm was exciting. They did secret sisters too, and they enjoyed that.

On Thursday we went to Taylorsville days, which is a Taylorsville themed festival that they have this time of year in Taylorsville to celebrate Taylorsville. There were lots of food trucks at the park and lots of rides and amusement park games that you could play. Gideon earned 10 free tickets by working hard helping them set up while we were at the park during the week, and we bought some more tickets so we went on various rides. Gideon and Elsa had a blast and Timmy felt like he was a little bit old for some of the rides but was not excited to try out the adult rides.

Either way, it was fun and we enjoyed ourselves.

Friday after work Mike bribed the kids with pizza, ice cream, more screen time, and various other things to massively clean the house in preparation for a board game party that we were going to have in the middle of the day on Saturday.

One evening (we think it was probably Thursday, but are not sure) there was a surprise hail storm. It was pretty exciting, and some of the Hill got to be as big as a nickel. We all went outside and watched the hail except for Timmy because he was sleeping, and some of the waters kids ran out in the hill and got pelted. We had fun collecting pieces of hail after it was done.

On Saturday we had Caitlin and Jay Ford and all of their kids over to play board games. We played multiple different games and ate lunch and then played more games up until it got closer to dinner time.

It was fun to play games with them the Ford family again (they moved to Idaho five years ago, so we haven't played with them since then)
