A First Hand Account of Timmy's Battles
Alison took the kids to the park pretty much every day this week. They have been enjoying the pool and spending time out of doors.
They also got physical library cards, so they have been enjoying checking out books on their own.
Mike got Friday off this week to celebrate the fourth of July. We went shopping and did things together. Tim and Mike played "Planet Crafter", and also went food shopping for Saturdays dinner. Alison, Mike, and the girls went to the thrift store. Elsa played with the Wilson's.
On Saturday we went to some garage sales and then had everyone come over for the traditional Brown family firework celebration, however, this year the mayor declared a city wide firework ban (because the fire danger was very high).
Because of this Alison came up with a wide array of firework adjacent activities such as: ooblek with pop rocks in it, blowing colored bubble snakes, shooting Redcoats with silly string, slingshot launched parachutes, confetti poppers, a dry ice smoke cauldron, a coke and mentos geyser, light up balloons, glow sticks, pop-pops, and sparklers (since those two were still legal).
People brought food over and then we talked and ate and the kids played. It was fun. We broke it up at about 11:00 when the neighbors started lighting real fireworks off (we all scarpered off so that we wouldn't be there when the police showed up.) Tim says that the police did show up a little bit later, so it is good that we didn't hang around.
Timmy wanted to add more to this boring description of the night, so without further adieu: A first-hand account of Timmy's battles:
---
So it all started when Alyssa was being mean to Dustin, so Dustin scared her and then the girls got all angry at Dustin. So the boys had to have an epic battle against the girls except we very much lost so we were running to hide in my room, but we had to hide in the parents room.
We finally came back out for Coke and Mentos and I heard that Brooklyn was going to grab and drink all the Coca-Cola so in order to stop her I jumped up and drink it all first I was chased by the girls and got betrayed by Salvador so Gideon got angry at us.
Then they started handing out the glow sticks so I grabbed some glow sticks (two, to be exact). Sara said to grab one but she didn't put in that boys will grab two glow sticks no matter what you say into her calculations so both me and Dustin grabbed two glow sticks and then I grabbed Salvador's one and then I grabbed Benji's glow stick too, so I had four glow sticks.
Then Gideon and Hannah formed the "League of being mean to me" also known as what they called "the police" and started trying to get me to give back on my glow sticks so I was giving back on my glow sticks galore and but I had gotten enough that I had started my very own Mafia and Dustin and Logan and Salvador and so we were stealing glow sticks and the police were stealing them back but then Dad called me and stole all my glow sticks and gave them back to people.

Finally, just so that this will have some image in it, We discovered this on our sidewalk (drawn in marker). We are not sure yet if it will come off.
