Are you asking for a challenge?!

I am tired, so this will be a bit disjointed.

This week we ate a lot of brie. It was pretty melty, but not spreadable to the core. Everyone loves it when it is toasted over bread. It tastes way better than mozzarella and melts just as good. Probably we will make a pizza on Monday with brie on top of it. If we like that then perhaps we will start making brie instead of mozzarella on a biweekly basis.

We went on a date to a Indian restaurant in Sandy named Karma. While there we had a new type of naan bread (this one was called peshwari naan). It was pretty good. Perhaps we will make it some time. The food was very good, but medium was a little too spicy. Alison wants to get some coconut cream to make lots of curries.

In terms of sickness: we all got better, and then Alison and Timmy got sick again. They are a little better, but it is a never-ending thing it seems..

We made a parmesan this week, and also 1 lb of butter (we made the parmesan from skim milk). They both turned out pretty good (so far). We are getting much better at butter.

Timmy only loves mommy this week. He doesn't even like dad. He is also refusing to be set down, so he is not crawling like expected. Alison is frustrated with his clingyness.

Rea went to a dance class. They played mermaids and monkeys at the dance class. She liked it. All the other girls were 6 years old. We don't quite know how that happened, but she had a fun time anyway.

This week on Wednesday we had our first goal day party this year. Rea learned how to swing all the way across a monkey bars all by herself (which was (if you recall) one of her goals.) She wanted macaroni and cheese for dinner and dairy queen for dessert, and a mermaid doll with a sparkly yellow tail for her present. We got all of them for her. We found a doll & sparkly cloth at the DI and had a good celebratory evening. Goal days are almost as big as birthdays in our house. Her new physical goal is to ride a pedal bike by herself.

Daddy is disappointed because he wanted to have the first goal day party of the year.

We also did a little exercise contest last night where we did push-ups and sit-ups for one minute each to see how many we could do. The results were as follows:
name(push-ups/sit-ups): Sara(8/2), Rea(12/7), Alison(19/11), Mike(38/30).
We challenge all comers to try it out and post their stats as comments to the blog.
