Under Pressure
Last week the girls did pedicures with Aunt Laurie. They had fun, and it is good that they are able to spend time with her.
Grandma Julie has also been in town this week, so Alison and the kids have spent some time with them. We got to walk the Rogers kids home from school and play with them for an hour. The kids loved that.
Mike was informed this week that his general contractor might be being investigated by the Utah attorney general's office for taking people's money and never finishing the jobs he started, so he is pretty stressed out about that. He hasn't gotten in contact with the office yet to verify it, so he is not 100% sure, but wouldn't be super surprised, since they have been working so incredibly slowly.
This week Timmy wrote another book. It is named The Willow Tree, and it is a sequel to The Great Expanse. He still needs to write chapter names, but other than that it is finished.
Timmy also made a few video games this week on scratch. The first one was called Tyranna-Smash. It is two player, and in it you are either a T-Rex or a giant robot hand and you try to smash each other. You could change your color, and when someone wins the other character says "I give up"
Alison's history, science, and literature class has been going well. Rea and one of two other girl have been attending it, and it seems like they have been enjoying themselves. They learned about wildebeest and Rea is the best at getting her assignments done, and Marissa is the best at understanding the literature, and Avi is the best at the participation and discussion part of the class.
Sara has also been enjoying public school still. She had a "yes" day, which is when the kids get to determine extra things that they want to be able to do.
On Thursday we got shots. Rea, Timmy, and Elsa didn't even cry and Gideon and Sara were at least brave. We bought them ice cream as a reward, but they couldn't agree so we bought two half gallons.
Gideon wanted to add a story about a car crash we saw:
We were driving to the horse festival. We go to our every year and we saw two cars hit into each other and drive away. One car was driving on the white lines. Other people said they saw them crash and Grandma and Grandpa couldn't get there. And they said that nine cars crashed total.
On the way home we also were told a secret way to get home faster by a parking attendant because we politely zippered correctly.
The primary program was on Sunday. Timmy and Gideon both read their parts very well, and it went very well overall.
