My milkshake
This week the oldest three kids went to a meeting where they learned about which kids are going to be in their Trek families. I don't recall hearing anything about Sara's family's, however, Timmy was excited to have Dustin in his family. That's really good because Timmy was concerned about not liking anyone in his family.
Now all we have to do is convince Tim that it will be okay to dance during the dancing activities in Trek.
Despite not knowing anyone in her Trek family Rea is excited about it. She says that they all seem nice.
At school this week Elsa received an award for having such good attendance. They gave her a golden medal and everything! She was very proud of herself. She also had a party where she got to dress up in a car outfit that Rea helped make for her.
After school and work one day we all went to the DI to buy swimsuits for all of the kids and we also bought the kids birthday presents for Alison.
Alison's Birthday this year was on a Sunday. We started by going to church and then after church we made some strawberry ice cream using a recipe that Buck gave us.
Alison chose to have bacon and eggs and pancakes for her birthday dinner. The strawberry ice cream is taking a ridiculous amount of time to harden, so we might end up eating it tomorrow. If it never hardens we will have a strawberry milkshake tomorrow.
We went to the stake center to sing in preparation for stake choir.
Gideon wants to add to the blog post that Dad will never let him play screens so he's not happy.
Elsa wants to add that Daddy and Elsa had a fun time, and that she also had a fun time at school.
Timmy doesn't want to add anything to the blog post.
On Saturday Mike and the kids went outside and cleaned up the yard in preparation for a barbecue that we will be having on Monday. Well we were outside Alison and Sara stayed inside and cleaned up things there.
