The Week According to Timmy - Also, Anglecon is Back

I asked Timmy to write the blog post, so this is what he produced:

"So this week I was sort of sad because I wanted to play outside but it was always raining and it was like 'swish swish pour pour waah waah' (that was the noise that the cat makes when he goes in the rain).

Also all the plants are growing except I don't like that because some of the plants I don't like and I did D&D with the Plastows the other day and Dustin killed the green dragon what's his name but we're going to bring him back today. Future note: we brought back Anglecon the green and Dustin wants to adopt a silver dragon and I think that Anglecon is not that angry at us.

Also Dad's making me write the blog post I'm not particularly sure why. I got my book a while back it's about the hollow night. It has Dung-Defender and the Mantis Lords and the Traitor Lord and it's cool. And so it's fun when we play hollow Knight and we find all sorts of stuff that correlates with the book.

This week we went to singing practice it's not very fun but we still do it and also I've been playing Dwarf Fortress and I was herding some yaks and one of them I found in the river so I'm going to call it Moses now because Rea and Sara and Ellie whenever they find stuff in the river they name it Moses I'm not sure why. 

Me and Rea got accepted into our camp but Sara didn't and that's too bad and so I'm hoping that I'll get choose to be in Ravenclaw because it's the best and it's better than all the others. We also had a temple trip where me and Rea and not Sara because she refused to come and also the young men and young women's went to the temple and did baptisms for the dead and this is the first time I've been to the temple without getting the bishop to print out my temple recommend.

We also went to the dentist. They checked everybodies teeth. Elsa got two cavities and Sara got one. I have to get a tooth yanked out. The stair people won against the elevator and Gideon asked them to turn on bluey instead of anything else but other than that it was normal.

Dad got released from his calling which is good because I didn't like him being in that calling because it took too much time. Hopfully he gets a good calling in the nursery.

Dad also went to the color run which I don't know about but everyone got painted by colors."

I have to add some notes about what Timmy wrote above: Mike did get released from his calling, which was a councilor in the Elders Quorum. With the recent re-arrangement of the stake they dissolved the whole presidency, so who knows what his next calling will be. He is hoping for a teaching calling or a clerk calling.

Also, Regarding the color run - it is a fund raising event at the school, and the people who run get covered in colored powder as they run. It was fun. Elsa really loved it.

To wrestle with a goat

Andrea has been enjoying the spring immensely. She loves to spend most of her time outside (she would probably spend almost all of it out there if her mother would let her). She loves to break into the goat food and feed the goats and chickens. She was digging holes under the fence (not to get through (she knows how to open the door) but to use the dirt as play goat food when we don't let her get any more real goat food) this leaves the chickens enough space to squeeze under the fence and enter into our garden area. The chickens have been laying a ton of eggs. The black and white one lays one every day and the other two lay eggs on alternating days it seems. Lala has been still producing milk in decent quantities (it is too bad that we have to dry her off when we go to Japan, but I doubt that we will be able to find someone who is willing to milk her that entire time). The kids just discovered stop motion animation and are making videos of their modeling clay dinosaurs. They're having fun. We have a wasp nest in our big tree in the front yard that Mike is really, really trying to figure out how to deal with before the weather warms up. It's much too high for any of the normal methods. He's thinking of shooting balls of clay at it with a slingshot to try to knock it down. This week we had CC and the kids are making friends with a new family, Will and Grace. They're nine year old twins and Timmy and Sara are having fun talking about Wings of Fire and Spirit Animals and other books with them. Tuesday the Rogers were off school, so we went with them and Grandma Julie to Thanksgiving Point all day. We did the dinosaur museum in the morning and butterflies in the afternoon.
