Cooking is so fun

Mike brought Tim to the doctors on Monday and learned that his foot is broken. He has been ordered to stay off it and they gave him a cast that would allow him to stand on it if he needed to. He has been scooting around with a scooter that we borrowed from Grandma Sheila ever since.

Monday evening we all went to Thanksgiving point for the egg festival. The Poulsons invited us and the Rogers there and we had a fun time seeing everything. Mike went with Timmy and they found a route through the park that avoided most of the stairs.

On Wednesday Sara's school invited Mike over to do a career Day presentation. He presented to three different classes and they really enjoyed asking him about video games and how programmers make them.

Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Mike have been away for the last week, however they came back for one night before leaving again to go off to Oregon. When Grandpa Mike arrived back he noticed that one of the pillars that was poured was blocking the garage door. We are not sure how they're going to fix that short of digging up the pillar and re-pouring it in a new location.

On Friday we all went to the off Broadway theaters new location and saw a play: Robyn Hood 2. It was a story about how Robin Hood had to win a jousting competition to make a lot of money to save King Richard because he had been captured. It was fun.

Saturday morning Mike went with Buck to the Home Depot and bought doors for our new house. It ended up costing quite a bit of money, but we'll have doors, so that's good.

This week the people who are framing the house got the wood on Thursday and we're able to frame up two walls of the garage by the end of the day. On Friday we didn't notice that they were there at all, so progress hasn't been super good since they got the wood.

We also thought that Tim and Gideon would be going to Disney Saturday, however, we were apparently in error about that. They are really leaving Monday morning, so Gideon is very disappointed about that.
